we had our most breathtaking train ride yet, we traveled along these enormous mountains with still a little bit on snow on the top and cascading waterfalls that led into raging rivers. the color of the water was an intense blue/green which was almost surreal in beauty. there were hillside towns all nestled in along the way with cows grazing in big open fields. we also passed a few small vineyards that come right up to the train tracks as if you could reach out your hand and grab a bunch of grapes.
